- Ben and Cam return to NYC from a successful trip to Tokyo full of optimism - and with duffle bags of hoodies for a CRISP pop-up store event. Back from her soul-searching globe-trot, Rachel realizes she still has feelings for Ben, but discovers he's seeing Julie. Rene puts up a head-turning Rasta Monsta billboard that incenses his girlfriend; Domingo expands his business beyond dog-walking.
- Cam and Ben aren't speaking and Yosi dangles a very big check in Ben's face. Ben has a moral as well as a financial dilemma. Rachel begs Edie to rehire her. Rene decides to play hardball with Everton but kidnaps the wrong person. Kappo plans a going-away party. Ben faces off with Yosi, then Nancy, then Cam; Rene and his men meet Everton and his men for an exchange. Rachel's Craig's List ad as a masseuse nets her more than a customer.
- Ben feels all is lost after the 200 t-shirts were stolen in the Jamaican power drinks van, resigning to odd jobs. Partner Cam however confronts uncle Rene Calderon, whom he suspects rightly of staging the theft. After secretly recovering their load while the van is burnt for insurance fraud, the boys deliver to Hiroshi's agent, who enthusiastically orders jeans too, but insists on 'customs evasion.' Lover Darren and boss Edie are startled when Rachel chooses to resign, dumping both of them and Ben to start over elsewhere.

If CRISP accepts this pro bono assignment, can the lads get their concept past the student review team?
- Nancy may or may not connect Ben and Cam to an L.A. buyer who's in town, so the lads contrive to spend time with Kirsten and Kristen, two blonde party animals who are in the Big Apple on a buying trip for a major St. Louis department store. Nancy isn't keen on this effort, believing that CRISP is still too small for more than boutiques. Rene pursues Debbie's forgiveness. She gives him an assignment: can he talk to her daughter about the crowd she's running with? Rachel heads out into the Manhattan night on a bicycle without a headlamp while Ben shares a taxi with Nancy.

Rene hits a rough patch when a community organizer claims that Rasta Monsta belittles the Caribbean community. Can the two men come to an accord?

Rachel gives Ben a gift she's brought from Paris; he makes it clear he wants a platonic relationship. They go to a wedding together on Long Island and have great time. Where does that leave Domingo? Rene's video has gone viral so he needs cash to pay for a large order of Rasta Monsta - but he's spent his stash on a gift for Debbie. Nancy comes through for CRISP but she wants newer photos of their line, so Cam approaches Felix with a big ask.
- It's all about economic opportunities that may be elusive. Yosi offers Ben and Cam a deal that catches them off guard: Cam rejects it out of hand, and Ben talks to Nancy about it. He also puts in a call to Kirsten and Kristen. Rachel's boss isn't happy about Rachel ignoring the catering story to write about Rashomon; Rachel gives Tim a copy of the story, and he suggests 'shrooming and a shvitz. Rene wants the marijuana spray, marketed under his brand, off the streets so he can land a big distribution contract; he pushes his boys to find the source. Kappo, fearing prison, wants to sit down with Rene.
- Ben and Cam have a hard time finding enough vintage 50% cotton t-shirts to print Crisp's Japanese order of 300 on. Ben is too often on the phone and takes time off without permission, so he ends up fired from his clothes sales job, but gets the t-shirts by inadvertently seducing salesgirl Julie. After a hot night he can't remember due to his hang-over, Darren sweetly insists on driving her to her next appointment. Warned by his confessor, René confronts Flaco, knocks him down like in their school days but ends up believing he didn't steal the cash.
- It's Rachel's birthday and both Darren and Ben are invited to the party.
- Ben finally receives the prototype of his jeans design, but feels a failure because it looks slightly sissy. Ben therefore shies away from asking help from design school buddy Pete Powell, but partner Cam still gets them presented to Japanese buyer Haraki, who orders t-shirts instead. Darren handles more souvenirs of Ben at Rachel's well, while her boss scolds her insensitivity. René hoped to recuperate the $100,000 he hid in a relative's home, but is expelled by his bitch-wife's restraining order, and the cash was 'found' by contractor Flaco while converting the apartment into her beauty parlor.

Eager to get a bigger marketing commitment for his fledgling Rasta Monsta drink, Rene makes a buyout offer his marketing partners better not refuse. After Cam peddles some of Benʼs skateboard decks to upper-crust Manhattan kids, they round up enough money to pay the tailor, deliver the denim and launch Crisp NYC.
- To investing partner Kappo's delight, working Crisp partners Ben and Cam finally have everything together for their first sale, albeit it's just t-shirts. That will cover their bet with René, but a day late, so he makes them 'work for it' as sample clerks for the Caribean energy drink he's marketing in New York for white Jamaican John Lardner, a fellow ex-con and hence a recipe for disaster according to Rene's parole officer Larry. They play hookey to collect and deliver the t-shirts, but the truck ends up being stolen. Meanwhile Darren gets his board to engage lover Rachel, whom he invited to move in, to redecorate his hotel with her enthusiastic boss, but instead she feel 'manipulated,' gets drunk and most rudely tries to win Ben back, just when he was ready to give Julie a go.
- Ben wants to get CRISP into Barneys, so Lulu promises the lads she'll introduce them to Nancy Frankenburg (Barneys' buyers eat out of her hand) at Sunday brunch at Nancy's Bank Street brownstone. When Lulu gets stuck in the Hamptons, Ben and Cam go to Nancy's anyway with a duffel of their samples. Lonesome Rachel gives Domingo a call.
- Using $3G they got via yet another high-interest loan from Rene, Ben and Cam buy up a roll of hot premium-denim material, then hit a series of dead ends in their search to find a manufacturer to make samples of their Crisp brand of retro-ʻ70s jeans. Along the way, they parlay a crashed late-night dinner with top fashion designer John Varvatos into a brainstorming meeting that may, or may not, hold the key to their entrepreneurial success. Meanwhile, both Ben and Rachel realize that they havenʼt totally moved on, and vow to try harder in the future.
- When his skateboard-deck business venture hits the wall, twentysomething graphic designer Ben agrees to fund a "sure thing" leather-jacket hustle proposed by good-times best friend Cam. The scheme morphs into downright desperation when Camʼs cousin Rene gets out of jail, looking for repayment of an old loan. Meanwhile, Ben is bummed to discover his ex-girlfriend Rachel is dating Darren, a hot hotelier, and finds little comfort in his horny pursuit of a sexy young thing during her late-night party. With Rene threatening bodily injury if Cam and Ben donʼt repay the loan, David, a schoolmate turned hedge-fund millionaire, saves the day, at least for the moment.
