To top it all off, Gabe was accidentally left home alone and has to be taken to the hospital by their reluctant neighbor, Mrs. Dabney.

- Teddy and her best friend Ivy want to go to a party thrown by a senior boy, but their mothers don't allow them to since they've never met the boy. Desperate for permission, they use a phone app to create a fake phone call that sounds as if Teddy's mother is giving Teddy permission to go to the party; when Ivy's mom learns that Teddy's mom, Amy, has supposedly given permission, she allows Ivy to go as well. Then they do the same thing backwards, creating a fake phone call from Ivy's mother so Teddy with be able to attend the party. However, just when it seems their scheme will actually work, Gabe, Teddy's mischief-making younger brother, informs both girls' mothers of what they did and their moms track them on GPS.
- Amy deems the family unfit for the annual hospital gala.
- Mary Lou wins an audition to sing the national anthem. Teddy is excited because she is promised the car that Mary Lou wins, but her plan soon hits a snatch. Meanwhile, the Duncans plays an annual bowling match against a rival family.
- Teddy and Ivy take Charlie trick-or-treating, but after being tricked by the neighbor kid, Teddy and Ivy plan revenge. Meanwhile, Mrs. Dabney tricks Gabe so he has to work a full day for her, and PJ goes goth to impress his new girlfriend.
- Teddy's schoolmates think that she is a jinx because the basketball team has been losing games ever since her and Spencer got back together, so she and Spencer stage a fake break-up to convince people the rumor isn't true. Bob thinks it's time for P.J. to get his hair cut at a barber shop that doesn't give out lollipops and stickers, and P.J.'s against it - until he falls in love with his new hairdresser. Meanwhile, Gabe overhears his parents talking in the kitchen and jumps to the conclusion that they're shipping him off to military school, so he decides to become the perfect son so he can stay at home.
- Charlie's new baby brother comes home and Bob's mother comes home to help too. Unfortunately, Amy doesn't really like her mother-in-law, so Teddy steps in to help.
- Amy's maternity leave is up.
- When a job offer comes up in Tennesse that Beau just can't turn down, he makes a tough decision.
- Bob comes home bearing gifts - smart-phones for Teddy and PJ, who will both learn about butt dialing the hard way, a surprisingly hazardous RC helicopter for Gabe, and an irritatingly "happy-happy-happy" singing plush horse for Charlie.
- Teddy and Ivy go on a double date. Gabe tries to get out of homework.
- Teddy agrees to watch their mean neighbor's beloved cat, Kaboodle, and Gabe experiences his first crush; Gabe lies about his family to make it seem like he and his crush, Kit, have a lot in common. He tells her that he is an only child living with his mom after his parents' divorce, which is exactly what Kit tells Gabe. Later on, Kit visits Gabe's house and Gabe, with the help of Teddy and older brother P.J., tries to keep it a secret that his parents are together and he has three siblings. Meanwhile, Kaboodle is checked by a cat therapist, who tells Teddy to readjust Kaboodle's aura.
- Amy and Bob are having their wedding anniversary. Teddy wants to surprise them. Charlie's blankie goes missing and she won't stop crying, Teddy offers to look for the blankie while Gabe takes the parents to the movies. PJ gets the cake.
- PJ makes a web video of Charlie that turns her into an internet sensation.
- When Gabe persuades Amy to let him invite his friends for a sleepover, this unfortunately means that Teddy loses her privacy in the cellar and has to sleep in Charlie's room. The night before an important audition. No problemo, right?
- The Duncans take a family vacation at the ski resort where Bob and Amy got married. Teddy encounters a psychic who predicts she'll meet the love of her life. The boys meet an old "friend". PJ chooses a wrong trail - or does he?

- Amy tries to avoid giving birth to the new baby on Charlie's birthday, so she and Teddy have to get creative, so it's born before then. Gabe gets fifty dollars to buy the doll that Charlie wants, but he ends up buying a video game instead.
- When PJ meets a cute girl, Madison, at his new job at Kwikki Chiki, Emmett becomes jealous that they're spending all their time together. Coincidentally, Amy learns that Bob used to date Madison's mom Katherine. Teddy tries to help Gabe with his classmate Jo who is picking on him.
- Teddy wants a phone, but Bob won't pay for it. The Kwikki Chikki needs to increase sales and PJ gets the idea of giving the business a 'face'. Amy gets competitive at Charlie's music school.
- Amy wants Gabe to befriend the new kid on the block, PJ and Emmett want a bass player in their band, and since Spencer already has a new girlfriend, Teddy wants a rebound boyfriend. Also, Bob resumes his old passion hobby.
- On Charlie's second birthday, the whole Duncan family winds up in prison. Teddy, Gabe, and Charlie are arrested for trying to break into a Gurgles concert (Charlie's favorite television show) after Teddy failed to get tickets. P.J. is there for harassing one of the Gurgle actors repeatedly, and Amy and Bob, the parents, are there because they were in possession of a stolen mini-horse, which Bob rented for Charlie's birthday party, completely unaware that the animal was stolen.
- Teddy and P.J. joins forces in an effort to win the battle of the bands.
- When Amy, Charlie, and Teddy travel to Chicago to visit a relative, they are mistaken for famous hip-hop dancers and have to dance on "Shake it up Chicago." Meanwhile, back home, P.J. and Gabe have a yard sale to make money off of all their useless junk and accidentally sell their neighbor a cookie jar with five-hundred dollars inside!
- Teddy and Spencer get back together, and she has a hard time telling her family. Meanwhile, Gabe tries to collect money so he can buy a new game console, and PJ finds out the truth about his name.
- After listening to a bad children's book in Charlie's preschool class, Teddy and Amy decide to write their own book. Meanwhile, Gabe picks Bob to go to career day at his school, and PJ counsels a couple who has trouble with their marriage.
- Teddy becomes the school mascot. Charlie takes her first step.
- PJ wants money to buy a car, but Bob refuses to help. Gabe has the money but he makes PJ sign a loan contract. Teddy pays a surprise visit to Spencer's workplace and sees his arm around another girl. Is it what it seems?
- Gabe accuses Charlie of leaving the garage door open.
- Teddy is happy that Evan walked her home, because she likes how he looks in his swim team swimsuit. Gabe think Evan looks familiar, and later (when he and Teddy are alone) remembers that Evan was at the store buying some roleplaying cards (similar to Pokemon cards). Teddy is dismayed at first that she and Evan don't have much in common, and then works with Gabe to learn the game to impress Evan. She arranges for Evan to "accidentally" discover her "secret love" of the game, and he invites her on a date. She has to bring along Charlie, and then learns that the date is a L.A.R.P. (Live Action Role Play) in the park, where avid fans of the game dress in costumes and stage a battle. Evan has costumes for Teddy and Charlie to be characters too, and Teddy reluctantly tries to play along. One of the opposing players is Lewis.
- Harry Wentz decides to follow his dreams and open up a new restaurant.
- Teddy is miserable after taking a job dressing as a sea creature.
- Teddy is losing interest in Derek, but has a hard time breaking up with him. Meanwhile, PJ and his co-workers at Kwikki Chikki want a raise, and Amy tries to teach Gabe to play hockey.
- Gabe and his friend Leo open up a lemonade stand, but after a fight, they end up competing against one another. Meanwhile, Teddy tries to avoid going to the homecoming with Emmett, and PJ accidentally breaks Bob's old band's album.
- Teddy is disappointed when she gets a B in English. She becomes obsessed with getting the teacher to like her. Amy offers to coach Gabe's basketball teams when Bob can't. Will she be any better than Bob?
