- A vindictive action drama amalgamated with love
- The O (organic) Horizon is the top layer of soil composed of decaying organic matter. The O is also a roundabout reference to a Tapovan learning circle, a place of study in a forest clearing enclosed by a symbolic circular boundary. The film is a documentary about Santiniketan, a remote university in West Bengal, founded in 1901 by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It is a place where people learn the science and stewardship of nature, spiritual lessons, and artistic practice. The documentary goes round the school, following lessons, discussions, and dances, and outings into nature. The spirit of the movie is that this is an alternative future that humans could look forward to, one where colonialism, greed and violence become the stuff of stories only.
