Lost Mary Fuller Film
PamelaShort23 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Untutored country girl Pauline D'Arcy ( Mary Fuller ) is left destitute by the death of her father. She soon falls in love with a middle-aged married man, John Adams ( Edwards Davis ) whose alias is Abbott. Although never intending to marry Pauline, Abbott promises to send Pauline to college. She then falls in love with Abbot's son, Richard, ( Harry Hilliard ) while at the same time establishing a literary career. She anonymously publishes a novel based on her experiences and it becomes a best seller. She is now being courted by Tom Dare, ( Curtis Benton ) who has surmised that she is the unknown author of the novel. He tries to blackmail her, but she will not reveal the details of her past. Richard chivalrously comes to Pauline's rescue, and saves her reputation, even though Abbott threatens to reveal her past to break up their relationship. Pauline and Richard overcome the distressing situation together, with the strong love they feel for each other.

This romance/drama starring Mary Fuller, is now considered a lost film. It is a very tragic loss for fans of the long forgotten actress, Mary Fuller, who was once a very popular and beloved early silent screen star.
