Warning: Spoilers
Beverly Arnold ( Louise Lovely ) works as a secretary in the law firm of John Cumberland ( Sam DeGrasse ) and Stephen Gray ( Philo McCullough ). Both men court her, but Beverly succumbs to the charms of Stephen . With her help, he writes a bestselling novel which leads him to give up his law career. After their marriage, Beverly continues to help Stephen with his writing, bringing a unique touch to his work that makes him quite famous. However, in his conceit, Stephen becomes bored with his wife and divorces her for Hedda Kossiter ( Rosemary Theby ), a heartless artist. Beverly, now free from Stephen, becomes a literary success in her own right. Stephen, now anxious to win her back, is saddened when he learns that her heart has turned to his former partner, John Cumberland.

This 1920 romance/drama starring the popular actress Louise Lovely, is now sadly considered a lost film.
