This film is considered lost.
Due to the violence in the film, it was rejected by the New York State Censor. After an appeal to the censor board was refused, the film was recut and many of Lon Chaney's scenes were deleted and his character was renamed O'Rourke. The film was then rereleased under its current title.
The film was advertised under the title "The Night Rose" in Washington state.
