It's so severely truncated that the dog will never earn the stardom he deserves!

Ben Turpin works at a railroad station. There a lot of weird stuff occurs. The weirdest involve a strange cigar salesman and, especially, the antics of a doggy. The problem is that the movie switchest from the station to suddenly seeing Turpin chasing a train and then suddenly it all ends. It's completely disjoint and nonsensical (unintentionally so).

"Asleep at the Switch" is a Ben Turpin film that is currently posted on YouTube. Unfortunately, while the film has some wonderful moments, it's so heavily truncated that I don't recommend you watch it. Should a longer and better version be available, watch it...it really has some lovely moments and, believe it or not, most of the best scenes involve the talented dog!
