Dancing girls appear at most parties, don't they?

1.....married one week 2....married 5 yrs 3....married 10 yrs

The opening scene in this early talkie comedy, you see three different couples in bed, talking. The first is a couple that have been married a week and they are desperately in love. The second is a couple that have been married five years...and the passion has obviously cooled. The third is a couple who have been married ten years....and they hate each other. Then the scene switches to some party and the three couples are among the guests...and the man married ten years, who is VERY jaded and quite the jerk, is talking on and on about how the longer you are married, the more it stinks! Nice guy, huh? He then comes up with a REALLY stupid idea...to get the newly wed woman and the five year married woman to pretend they've been kidnapped to see what their husbands do. Does this sound insane enough for you? No? Well, then women in athletic uniforms arrive and begin a cheesy dance number....just like you'd expect at a party! Or, not.

This is an incredibly contrived film...very tough to believe and pretty silly. I won't tell you how the two husbands respond and what the wives do...you'll have to see that for yourself. Overall, a very silly film...one more of interest because of its weirdness than anything else....because, down deep, it's really not very good.

Warning: Spoilers
Curious that this draggy two reeler survives having only the incidental interest of primitive form, the indistinguishable participation of celebrity cameraman Stradling and some proto Radio City Music Hall choreography from a chorus line which shows up at random.

After successive single shots of married couples in double beds we go to some implausible garden party where the lead arranges for the wives to pretend they have been kidnapped by a prowling criminal called "The Gorilla". This leads him to appreciate his own wife for some inexplicable reason. Dialogue is declaimed and everything is shot square on from a distance.
