Strangely, there have been far too many break-ins on Officer Kennedy's watch--to be more precise, forty-two burglaries in one week, and still no arrests. Facing redundancy, the ineffective policeman stumbles upon the unsuspecting vagabonds, Laurel and Hardy--and without much thought--he will approach them with a preposterous proposition; one that would get him off the hook. To avoid ninety long days of incarceration, the boys will even try breaking and entering; however, are they up to the task?
