When Brennan is talking to his boss Smedley; he tells Smedley, "Don't get excited". But on the next cut, the same scene is repeated with Brennan using a variation of the dialogue, this time telling Smedley, "there's no use in getting excited."
When the cop leaves the hideout; a gangster closes the door and stands away from it holding a cigarette with his right hand. But on the next cut when they bring out Brennan, he is now holding the doorknob with his right hand. Through the next few shots, it alternates quickly between him holding the knob and standing away from the door holding a cigarette.
When Marion grabs the paper dolls from the stuttering piccolo player; while the paper is on the desk she runs her left index finger across it pointing at the keywords as she goes along. But on the next immediate cut, she is now holding the paper dolls in the air away from the desk and spreading them open with both hands.
