- Sam is a womanizer. He is implied to have been fooling around with a woman on his office couch. He is also implied to have had sex with a female client. She is seen to spend the night in his apartment. In the morning, she is in his bed as he is dressed and leaving.
- There is one brief scene which shows Ruth in the bath, but there is no explicit nudity. In his kitchen, she is forced to disrobe in a search for a missing $1000 bill; nudity is implied rather than shown.
