Reporter Steve Blane arrives in Cheyenne looking for the famous outlaw Arapaho Brown. But when Arapaho saves his life, he learns that Sam Drummond is the real outlaw and his gang are impersonating Arapaho and his men. With the hoax now exposed, Drummond and his men chase Blane to a ranch where he and a few others find themselves outnumbered and once again in need of Arapaho's help.
