A narrated film explaining the fine points of playing baseball as demonstrated by Goofy (and various Goofy lookalikes). We are introduced to some of the pitcher's various throwing styles such as the "spitball", the "slowball", and the "screwball". Finally the day of the big game arrives and the crowd and the players are both tense. After much confusion, the game climaxes when members of opposite teams both make a run for first base. The umpire declares one of them out and ultimately a free-for-all ensues. And that is how to play baseball, the narrator explains.
