After three weeks together, Helen can be seen reading a copy of the novel "Three Weeks" by Elinor Glyn.
The play upon which this film is based opened on Broadway at the Gaiety Theatre, 1547 Broadway at W. 46th St., on October 18, 1926 and ran for 96 performances until January, 1927.
The time period of this story is described by reviewers as the Victorian Age. In fact, it is set during the Edwardian Age, specifically the year 1907. Queen Victoria died in 1901, and King Edward took the throne. In a scene, Helen is conspicuously reading "Three Weeks," which was first published in 1907.
The only film to be directed by actor Clive Brook. He also starred in it; it was his penultimate film role, the next one being all of nineteen years later.
