  • A woman appears to be cheerful but instanlty glares and becomes angry when she hears her husband's crippled brother state that he wants to come and stay with them at their house. She tries to convince his doctor to come up with a reason to not allow him to come along. The doctor confidently assures her that he is doing fine and it will do him some good to get a change of scenery. This makes the woman angry. When her husband comes in she states that the doctor has good news and the boy can come with them. They decide to call him to inform him of the news. The wife insists on making the call (attempting to give both her husband and the doctor the impression that she is happy about this while she is really very angry).
  • A woman who is pregnant looks in the mirror and states that she wishes it would die.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A woman intentionally causes the death of her husband's crippled brother. He gets out of the canoe and swims as the woman follows behind. As he becomes increasingly tired and cries for help she watches him struggle to keep his head above the water. He drowns and she sees her husband walking outside. She yells and jumps into the lake pretending to save him.
  • A woman finds out that she is pregnant and does not want the child. She kills the child by intentionally falling from the top of the stairs all the way to the bottom. We do not see her actually make contact with the stairs but we hear the sound of her falling. She is then briefly seen lying on the floor. The unborn child does not survive.
  • The husband finds out that his wife intentionally caused the death of his brother and confronts her about it. He also realizes that she intentionally killed their unborn child. She responds by saying that she did it because she didn't want anyone in the house with them.
