Macbeth (1946) is a fantastically acted adaption of two scenes from the play. First, we see the scene in which Macbeth is wallowing in the despair of his actions post the death of King Duncan. The booming "knock, knock, knock" certainly nails the atmosphere of that scene.

Following, we see the scene in which Lady Macbeth is sleepwalking, and confesses her crimes to two witnesses.

Its only fault is that this is not a full adaption of the play! But instead, to my understanding, was a small view into how British theatre actors would perform the play on stage. Yet, while limited in scope, what it aims to achieve it achieves well, and the actors (and actresses) are all fantastic in their roles.
