Cool music, dumb humor, beautiful women: Not much has changed!
Sleepy-1726 June 2002
This lightweight musical doesn't have much of a script, but some nice mugging and singing by Bob Howard and Pigmeat Markham (!). The songs are all original and as good as most mainstream musicals, but the one gospel number is strange and under-rehearsed. Its 55 minutes pass by quickly because of the pretty women (especially Marie Cooke, who sings also) and fun music. Mostly tin pan alley, but there's a blues number too!
