As Stig Olin's character Ragnar stands outside a cinema, posters and signage for Ordet (1943) can be seen. Olin appears in that film too, as does Gunn Wållgren, and just like this it's directed by Gustaf Molander.
Ingmar Bergman's text "Puzzlet som var Eros", inspired by a story of a woman who is admitted to a mental hospital for her and others' safety, was developed with a number of Bergman dialogues and treated by director Gustaf Molander, and came to be "Kvinna utan ansikte/Woman Without a Face".
Gunn Wållgren's character Rut Köhler lives at Östermalmsgatan 31, Stockholm, opposite what used to be the Women's Prison. Later, in the 80's, Swedish playwright Lars Norén moved to Östermalmsgatan 33.
