Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Where ya goin'?
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : I'm gonna ask him where My Girl is.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : What are you, an interrogator?
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : You know I don't drink.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Look, I told you once before, and now I'm gonna re-irrigate: I want you to keep your mouth shut and not talk to nobody, understand?
-
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Partners, I think our destinies are beginin' to destine.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : Oh, destinately.
-
Terry Flynn : You seem to know horses.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Oh, a little. I used to be an exercise boy.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : You could do with a little exercise now.

[Sach and Slip spot an attractive young woman feeding a horse]
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : [referring to the woman] Very demolishin'.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : And pretty, too.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Now dat I like.
Flynn : [referring to the horse] That's My Girl.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : [looking Flynn over] Not an impossible feat.
Flynn : D'you like her?
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : "LIKE" her? What else.
Flynn : Well, maybe we can make a deal a-and settle Louie's debt right now.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Yeah?
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : Yeah?
Flynn : Well, if you like her, take her.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : [astonished] "TAKE her?"
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : [astonished and delighted] "TAKE her?"
Flynn : Yeah.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : [overly excited] Take 'er, take 'er, ta... Take 'er! Take 'er! Take 'er!
Flynn : She's in good shape.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Oh, that she is.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : [overly excited] That she is, that she is, that she is.
Flynn : And very sound.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Oh, solid.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : Solid. Solid.
Flynn : Then it's a deal.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Look, Mr. Flynn, uh, we agreed to take almost anything back to Louie on account, but, uh, I think that would be a little out of his line, the age difference and everything.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : Don't worry about age! We'll say she's older.
Flynn : You'll be doing me a big favor if you take her off my hands. I-it costs so much to feed her.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Uh, Mr. Flynn, you really should be in bed.

[for a critical failure, Slip throws Sach out of the gang]
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : I don't want to see you again till etoinity ends!
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : But, Chief, whadda gonna do without me?
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Everything right. Now get goin'!
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : All right for you, Slip. As I give you the best years of my life, you throw me out of the gang. I'm leavin', but when you get in trouble, don't call on me for more!

Louis Xavier 'Louie' Dumbrowsky : A horse! A real live horse in my sweet shop! You're using my comb. You're using my hairbrush. Why don't you use my toothbrush to brush her teeth?
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : What, and give her cavities?
-
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : Whitey.
Whitey : Yeah?
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : You and Sach switch de horses - and do it with dispatch.
Horace Debussy 'Sach' Jones : I thought we were gonna do it with Tarzana.
Terence Aloysius 'Slip' Mahoney : I thought I told you to keep your mouth shut.
