The last of the "Father" film series, this Monogram "B"-grader will entertain only the most undemanding viewers. True, the photography, assisted by actual location filming, is unusually bright and sparkling for a Monogram effort, but all other production credits are totally uninteresting. Frank McDonald's direction is especially dull. The script has been poorly constructed: A long introduction and an equally long anti-climax surround a ten-minute episode in which a bank robber is captured. The acting – especially of the two hammy principals, Walburn and Catlett – leaves a lot to be desired, although M'liss McClure as Barbara Latham (her second fling at Barbara and her final of four movie appearances) is reasonably attractive.
