In the opening, the police car on the way to the station is a Nash. When it pulls into the station, it's a Ford.
At the beginning, the police car pulls up in front of the station and the two officers take the prisoner inside the station. They leave the back door open and are not seen going back outside. A few minutes later, Don is bailed out and he and Marilyn (who was inside the station the entire time) leave through the same door the officers used. Her car is parked in the same spot where the police car had been.
During the car chase, the police officer fires at least 20 rounds from his six-shot revolver without reloading.
Vic carelessly stuffs the robbery proceeds into his overflowing pockets. As he makes his getaway, there is no sign of the bills.
Various scenes show the same shadow from a tree in the first scene in the house of the father.
The police car has no markings on the door, front or rear.
