Superstitions and the dark arts have taken hold in society. While many people are not superstitious, they nonetheless follow certain rituals out of cultural habit borne out of those superstitions. To support their theories, superstitious people will often tailor an outcome to their beliefs. Certain superstitions and dark arts can be harmless and be all in fun, such as the celebration of witches on Halloween, but can be harmful if it replaces or overwhelms logic, such as receiving medical advice from a practitioner of the dark arts as opposed to a certified medical professional.
