• Skidmore : [singing]  The farmer and the cowman should be friends. One man likes to push a plow. The other likes to chase a cow. But that's no reason why they can't be friends.

• [Curly notices that the haystack is fire] 

  Curly : Fire! Haystack's a fire!

  Skidmore : Get some water!

  [He and the people are getting the water. Jud Fry running with a torch to the haystack and sees Curly and Laurey on top of the haystack] 

  Jud Fry : Curly, I've got a present for ya! I didn't have to kiss the bride! But, I've got a present for you!

  [burns the haystack with a torch, Laurey screaming] 

  Jud Fry : There's a present for you!

  [draws a knife] 

  Jud Fry : Come on! Come on!

  Curly : Ike! Slim, quick!

  Jud Fry : Come on!

  [Laurey jumps off the haystack. Curly sees Jud, jumps off the hay and pounces him. Curly notices that Jud is dead]
