When examining the wooden horse, Ulysses tells his friend that the Trojans will give thanks to Athena for their victory. The friend replies, "And to Bacchus, the god of grapes." While "Bacchus" is the name for Dionysus used by the Romans, it is also used of the Greek deity, most dramatically in Euripides' play _The Bacchae_. Dionysus/Bacchus is more than merely a god of grapes.
When the Greeks are first shown marching to attack Troy, the shot appears to be flopped since all the Greek soldiers appear to be left handed. They carry their spears with their left hands, and their shields in their right.
