The Brian Kendrick is the latest former WWE superstar to return to WWE developmental promotion Nxt. His appearance comes a week after The Man Beast Rhyno resurfaced on Nxt TV. Whilst Rhyno squashed Elias Samson, Kendrick put in a shift, losing to Finn Bálor in a good main event match.
Kendrick was very well-received by the Nxt crowd and with good reason: Kendrick, who has been absent from WWE for almost six years, was a very exciting WWE superstar. His Tag Team Championship run with longtime partner and best friend Paul London is remembered fondly by fans.
Kendrick is exactly the type of former superstar that can be an asset to Nxt. He’s a hard-working, well-rounded veteran who can have good matches with the new generation of stars. Whether or not we will see any more of Kendrick is unknown. But, based on his performance against Bálor (who...

At last night’s Nxt tapings, the Man Beast Rhyno returned to WWE for the first time in almost ten years. There is an incredible buzz around Nxt at the moment, after the wonderful Nxt Takeover: Rival event, and the sudden reappearance of Rhyno (and Brian Kendrick) have gotten people talking about the promotion even more.
Just why are the fans so excited to see the return of Rhyno? Well, Rhyno was a very entertaining member of the WWE roster from 2001 up until 2005. Criminally underused, he was something of a cult hero stemming from his breakthrough performances in the dying days of Ecw.
Rhyno can add a lot to the Nxt roster (if it is more than just a one-off). Even at the age of 39 and with injuries and everything else, Rhyno is still a great professional wrestler, is in great shape and, most importantly of all, he...

Considering they're the best-known cryptids in history, the humanoids known variously as Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Yeti, the Abominable Snowman and so forth don't get much respect in modern cinema. While thousands of hours of film and video have been dedicated to these elusive man-beasts, there's something about the big dude that makes it nearly impossible for filmmakers to take him seriously, or even tell a semi-competent story about him. It's certainly not for a lack of trying; there have been nearly a hundred Bigfoot and Yeti movies released since the '50s. Old-fashioned giant monster romps, found-footage and slasher entries, feel-good family dramas, romantic comedies... even porno flicks. So why are nearly all of them so damn goofy? Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy these insane interpretations; in fact, the crazier they get, the more I dig 'em. So to honor this dubious cinematic legacy, here are two dozen of...

Pro Wrestling in the 1990s was a turbulent decade that started bleak with the sport in a scandal-ridden slump and ended in one of the most profitably hot eras in the history of the industry. In between the dawn and dusk of the time, submission wrestling was a rather lost art. Powerbombs, Suplexes and Piledrivers were the moves of the day during this period, as fans were more conditioned to respond the immediate impact and powerful blows of the mighty big men, and little room was made for two skilled, fit athletes to duel in a battle of “I Quit”, save for an exceptionally talented few who broke the mold and were able to make opponents cry “uncle” in an era when they would be more likely taking a fall.
In a time of clobbering juggernauts, the following wrestlers were able to successfully slap on their submissions against all odds...

Big news on the "Guardians of the Galaxy" front this weekend as HitFix reports John C. Reilly could potentially be up for a role in Marvel's first purely-cosmic film. The role in question? Rhomann Dey, leader of the Nova Corps and human liaison between S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Yes, you read that correctly. Not only is it looking like S.H.I.E.L.D. might have its hand in "Guardians" but so is the entirety of the Nova Corps!
HitFix was also kind enough as to shed some light on Michael Rooker's Yondu and Lee Pace's mysterious role. Apparently, Yondu will be the main villain of "Guardians" (is Thanos taking a backseat?) and Pace will be playing a character that starts as a villain but becomes a hero by the end of the film, thus allowing for another spinoff franchise.
