  • This movie is extremely violent for its time.
  • We see a large scar on a woman's neck
  • A girl is forcibly knocked out with chloroform. When she wakes up, we see from her distorted POV the scarred face of another woman.
  • A girl's face is removed during a surgical procedure, and we see blood from the incisions along with forceps being attached to her chin and forehead. We then see the tissue being lifted off her head and we briefly see the bloody flesh underneath.
  • We see lurid photographs of a girl's face depicting progressive rejection of her new facial tissue.
  • A woman is stabbed in the neck with a scalpel, we see the knife sticking out her neck before she slumps over and dies.
  • Several large dogs are seen mauling a man, we later see his ravaged body, along with his torn, bloody face.

  • Various other scenes that may be frightening include the killing of women and the dumping of bodies into water as well as dogs attacking a man's face.
