- Two English women and their female servant are kidnapped by pirates and sold to an Arab sheik. However, they all fall for the captain of the pirate ship that captured them.
- 'The Lustful Turk, or Lascivious Scenes from a Harem' was first published anonymously in 1828.
In 1814 Emily Barlow is traveling to India with her maid Eliza to assume her inheritance, when they are captured by Moorish pirates and imprisoned in Algiers. The Dey of Algiers gives Eliza to his brother, the Bey of Tunis, and keeps Emily for himself. It soon becomes clear that Emily rather enjoys the Dey's carnal attentions.
Eliza isn't as cooperative with her new master, and suffers a rough initiation into the ways of the flesh. But she eventually takes her revenge on Muzra, lulling him into a false sense of security, and then stabbing him in their bed. The badly wounded Muzra shows compassion, ordering that Eliza be spared and returned to Ali.
Emily then receives a letter from her fiancé's sister, Sylvia, ridiculing her for her wanton behavior. The Dey intercepts the letter, and thinks it only fair to give Sylvia a taste of what her friend has been enjoying -- so he dispatches his pirates to kidnap her. Needless to say, Sylvia takes to Ali like a duck to water.
All is bliss in the Dey's harem, until his vengeful Greek concubine, Zelia, emasculates her master. The neutered Dey, no longer in need of a harem, sends the three unhappy Englishwomen home -- and the treacherous Zelia to his disloyal brother, Muzra.
Note: It is reputed that in 1968, David F. Freidman's carnal costume epic was the most expensive adult feature film ever made!
