Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are no strangers to committing to the bit. Poehler shared that she and Offerman used to make out while filming Parks and Recreation in an attempt to get the moment into the show’s blooper reel.
“Nick and I used to do a thing every year for the blooper reel where we would end a scene by making out, and the crew would hate it,” Poehler told The Independent UK in an oral history celebrating the 15th anniversary of NBC’s beloved sitcom. “Everybody hated it, and it really made us laugh.”
Poehler played Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the (fictional) Pawnee, Indiana, Parks and Recreation Department. Her forever upbeat optimism was balanced by Nick Offerman’s Ron Swanson, a cynical libertarian working as the director of Parks and Rec.

It’s a wonder that Arnold Schwarzenegger even bothered to go into acting after making millions in the Us on the back of what might be deemed a shady deal but was still a smart business model. It takes more than a pretty dress to stun on the red carpet. In order to be successful on the 2017 American Music Awards red carpet, the last award show of the year, the celebrity's outfit must be on trend, fit perfectly, pair to hair and makeup, live up to the glam standard of the red carpet and photograph well. It's all in the details, making it easy to miss the mark. Making it on to the Worst Dressed list can be disheartening after spending hours getting dress—we get it. But, with a few tweaks, celebs like Julia Michaels and Sabrina Carpenter would be stunners. Just take Julia's red gown. While we can appreciate the bold style, the cutout and tie in the middle of the...

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead. (And trust us, this one’s so good, you’ll want to watch first, read later.)
In what may have been Season 8’s first truly great episode of The Walking Dead, Sunday’s “Some Guy” started with Ezekiel being shaken to his theatrical core by the massacre with which “Monsters” ended, and concluded with the king being shaken to whatever is even deeper than one’s core by the next tragedy to strike. Before Alec Baldwin, there was Darrell Hammond. The longtime “Saturday Night Live” cast member has been one of the show’s best-known impressionists for more than two decades, sending up the likes of Bill Clinton, Sean Connery, and, yes, Donald Trump. Last September, however, he received word that he would no longer be impersonating the then–presidential candidate — and it broke him.
Hammond recalls the experience in a lengthy Washington Post profile, recalling how devastated he was with great candor. “I just started crying,” he says. “In front of everyone. I couldn’t believe it. I was in shock, and I stayed in shock for a long time. Everything wiped out. The brand, me, what I do. Corporate appearances canceled. It was a hell of a shock, and all of it was apparent to me in one breath.

Miley Cyrus dropped her sixth studio album, Younger Now, on Friday, and there is so much to decode. While most of the album was inspired by her relationship with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, there's one song in particular, "She's Not Him," that seems to be about her brief relationship with Victoria's Secret Angel Stella Maxwell. In the first verse, Miley talks about leaving her other half because she doesn't fill the void that her ex left behind, despite her lover's perfect qualities. "You changed my life / You've been my world / There's no other girl that looks like ya, darling / Those eyes, that tongue, those teeth, that face, that body / Even though we've gone to outer space / Still no way you can take his place." Miley then wonders why she can't seem to fall in love with the person she's with and mentions how she still hasn't moved on from her ex.

If you’d asked me a year ago whether or not we’d actually get a Shazam movie, I’d probably say no. In the grand scheme of things, compared to all the other DC properties out there, it seemed like the riskiest. Additionally, if you’d’ve asked me if Billy Batson would be in Shazam (if it did get made), I would’ve said no. Given the tone of the Dceu back then, it seemed like a world that would have no room for the antics of a young kid. When there are real stakes on the line, I didn’t think Warner Bros. would indulge in this tale of wish fulfilment. I’d always thought that Shazam could tell the tale of Black Adam and his turn from villainy to anti-heroism. Obviously, that’s no longer the case.

Stick this one firmly in the ‘We didn’t really ask for another sequel/remake/reboot to Flatliners but thanks all the same’ camp – It’s a crowded arena to be sure. If this new version was honestly marketed as having nothing to do with the original 90s film then it might spark a little more interest. Making it a sequel seems hoist it unnecessarily to a not-very-well remembered original which hasn’t exactly become a pop cultural icon.
Still, that’s the movie-making game right now. And throw a few thousand volts through us! This new trailer makes this generations’ dalliance with the afterlife look like fun. The new Flatliners is directed by The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’s Niels Arden Oplev and stars Ellen Page, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, Diego Luna, Kiersey Clemons, all of whom express the requisite arrogance and remorse their parts demand.

Rap trio Migos was removed from a Delta flight on Friday from Atlanta, Georgia, to Des Moines, Iowa, on their way to a concert.
Their manager is claiming the airline racially profiled group members Quavo, Offset and Takeoff after the plane returned to the gate to remove them from Delta Flight 1532.
TMZ first reported the news, with their manager telling the outlet that the three members were in first class, and Takeoff’s bag was on the ground and not in the overhead bin.
A rep for Migos could not be reached for comment.

In amongst the bustle of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Despicable Me 3 screenings in

cinemas this weekend is the distinctly unsettling and powerful It Comes At Night. A film marketed, not entirely fairly, as a horror, it’s from writer/director Trey Edward Shults. He wrote the movie following the death of his father, a parent from whom he was estranged until his dying days. That extraordinary, impactful backdrop underpins the film, and was the logical starting point for our conversation.
I’ve been reading quite a lot since sitting through your film. In particular, that the movie was a response to your relationship with your late father. I’m sorry to bring it up, but it resonates through so much of the film once you know that. I read that...

Synopsis: Telepaths Unite! The Phoenix is coming! And determined not to become its next victim, Jean Grey will enlist the help of its previous hosts…but will Rachel Grey, Quentin Quire and Hope Summers have the answers she’s searching for?
Two issues into this series and I must say this is much better than I ever expected. Growing up Jean Grey was always my least favorite X-Men character, but this series shows just how crucial piece she has been to the success of this franchise.
Due to her concern that the Phoenix is coming she seeks the help of others who have held the power of the Phoenix. With this being comics this eventually leads into a random scuffle with some pretty forgettable bad guys, but within that action are some strong character moments. Jean is struggling...

For Catherine Hooper, recovering from the death of her fiancé, Andrew Madoff has gotten harder as time has passed, not easier.
“It’s been pretty awful,” Hooper 44, tells People. “It’s not to say that you don’t find your peace with it but it has been really, really difficult. Sometimes I think it’s harder even now than it was at the first early moments. It’s the reality of what life is like without this person. You built so many dreams with them. There are moments that it’s so painful that I can’t tell him something funny that has happened.

When Prince Adam of Eternia would raise his mighty sword above his head, he could exclaim “I… Have… the… Power!” and with it transform into He-Man. This would turn his pink and maroon body suit into merely a manly loincloth and pec-harness combo. He would be granted a physique that would make Vince McMahon want to give him the main event at Wrestlemania. Most important, he was now the mightiest mortal on his alien world – able to dispense of evil with but a flick of a forearm, and nary a tussle of his pageboy haircut.
When Marc Alan Fishman, Kyle Gnepper, and Matt Wright want to transform from slovenly suburbanite husband-dads into cantankerous comic book creators, they hold up their mighty laminated sign that reads “Can I tell you about my comic book?” and look mildly pathetic. But much like Prince Adam, that singular phrase has bestowed upon the lads...

Even more than most years, 2017 seems to be the Year of Stephen King. After the wildly popular reception of the “It” trailer, author Stephen King tweeted a message on April 4 that made fans very hopeful for the adaptations slated to drop in 2017:
The Mist, Mr. Mercedes, 1922, Gerald’S Game, The Dark Tower, and It: Believe it or not, they all look awesome.
— Stephen King (@StephenKing) April 4, 2017
King’s films and TV series have a tendency to be varied in terms of quality, but if that tweet is to be believed, there’s a definitely a renaissance afoot. Now that filmmakers seem to be able to hit the right tone from his work, here are five properties which have never been adapted that could make for successful endeavors, along with director and lead actor picks that would be pitch-perfect. To narrow down the picks, any novel or short story that is in some stage of acquisition, development, or that has been made already is ineligible.

Platform games had to adapt to survive in the latest generations of gaming, and they did so in many ways. You have the 3D style where the open world environment extended the way platforms were interacted with, then you had the ones that stayed 2D (or 2D.5) and upped the challenge. This is where Switch or Die Trying finds its home, in the challenge.
Much like Super Meat Boy, the idea behind Switch or Die Trying is to take a fairly simple character and put them through hell to make it through a system of complicated levels. Where Switch or Die Trying differs is that to reach extra heights you can change the character from a small I to a capital one.
Adding to the ability to jump higher, there is also the ability to shoot at objects to change their state. These states can also be altered when you...

Judd Apatow is no stranger to success -- or the work it takes to get to where he’s at today.
After getting his start on TV as a co-creator and co-producer of The Ben Stiller Show and, later, honing his craft as a writer on The Larry Sanders Show, he wrote and produced Freaks and Geeks as well as creating Undeclared. Though they only lasted one season each, both shows would go on to become cult classics while Apatow largely shifted his focus to film. It was there he found box office success with Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, followed by an era of bromantic comedies with The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Superbad.
“I didn’t really plan to do TV,” Apatow tells Et on a snowy day in January -- the first of two conversations that coincidentally happened on snow-filled days during a surprisingly mild winter in New York City. While excited...

This week's episode of Chicago Fire was aptly titled. Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 14 really did feel like "Purgatory" as we watched the main characters get scattered to different firehouses. But as much as they bristled about their transfers, that's how uncomfortable this all was to watch.
Maybe that was the point?
Most of the episode dealt with our firefighters and paramedics getting their new assignments and/or partners and hating them. It makes sense that they wouldn't want to work with new people, but all of these characters used felt like caricatures.
There was the grumpy one. The overly perky one (who hilariously had once hit on Dawson). The incompetent ones. And the chief who was, of course, in no way as good as Boden.
"Purgatory" wanted to make the argument that Firehouse 51 is a cut above the rest and thus deserved to be reunited. Again, makes sense. But surely...
