Watch the blouse buttons closely: at her "Laura Billings" apartment, Sally Baker starts to unfasten her satin blouse, but Tony comes out from hiding, stopping her cold. She appears to have only undone the top 2. However, a close up in her kitchen shows that most of her buttons have popped open. The next frame goes back to her blouse only having her 2 top buttons undone.
Lulu declares that Max is on the phone with "La Nouvelle Monde", a newspaper in Paris. That is an error. "Monde" ("world", in French) is actually a masculine word, so the correct fictitious title should have been "Le Nouveau Monde". (One of the most famous newspapers in France is "Le Monde". The other two are "Le Figaro" and "Le Parisien".)
The French phrase that Max Pomeroy speaks on the phone is grammatically wrong. He also pronounces the last word wrong: "gratis" ending consonant is supposed to be pronounced, but Keene Curtis omits it and says "gra-TEE" instead.
