Sex & Nudity

  • A man tells the detective of how his wife has been cheating on him and of how he will be marrying another once his divorce is behind him.

Violence & Gore

  • The film revolves around a murder and the solving of it. The actual murder is shown in flashback at the end of the film. Since is was a stabbing, the murderer is shown holding the knife and plunging it downward into the body with a "thunk", but the actual impact of the stabs is not shown. The body is shown briefly with several stab wounds that are surrounded by some blood. The victim's eyes are wide open, as if he had reacted to the stabbings, despite his having been drugged into unconsciousness and not screaming because of it.
  • Several people talk about murder and killing. A person is shown putting sleeping powder into a man's drink.

Profanity

  • A man refers derogatorily to another man that he assumes to be French as a "frog."
  • 3 uses of "Hell" 2 uses of "Damn" 1 use of "retarded" 1 use of 'Bloody' and 1 use of 'God'.
