- A scene which is in slow-motion that lasts several minutes takes place in a girl's locker room where young women are seen getting dressed and showering. Full frontal nudity is seen repeatedly, which includes bare breasts and pubic area. Close-up shots of a girl washing her body, she then unexpectedly starts her period.
- A girl performs oral sex on her boyfriend in a car. No nudity is seen, but we hear both of them moan and we see the girl's head go up and down.
- A close-up shot of a Carrie's nipples poking through her dress as her and her mother have a brief back and forth about it.

Violence & Gore
- A teen girl uses her telekinesis to kill people at the prom. Not much blood or gore though.
- 3 men are electrocuted, but one of the men catches on fire and burns down the prom.
- A woman is killed by a falling basketball board that hits her in the torso, pinning her to the wall. She dies as blood emerges from her mouth.
- A bucket falls on a teen boy's head, killing him
- A car flips over and explodes, killing both driver and passenger.
- A teen girl is stabbed in the back with a knife by her mother. After being stabbed, she falls down the stairs. She then gets up and uses her telekinetic powers to impale her mother with knives (blood is shown) in a crucifix pose, killing her. Somewhat bloody but not too graphic.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Several people are locked inside a burning gym and are burned alive.
- A survivor at the prom has a dream that she placed flowers on Carrie's grave which is a For Sale sign and a bloody hand reaches up and grabs her; she wakes up screaming.
