- Two scenes could be frightening to children: one is the attack by the moon beast of several men in a tent. The other is where (in an imagined sequence) the main character jumps out of a tram going up a mountainside and falls to the ground. The in-hospital transformation scene is very mild and children will not be frightened by it.
