- A huge and deformed animal attacks and kills several people, one man's head is bitten off, a few people are briefly seen mutilated by the animal's attacks, a woman's neck is bitten by a smaller animal, and a man burns to death. Moderate blood and some gore are shown.
- Three men in a search team are attacked and killed offscreen. Their dead bodies are seen afterwards.
- A couple of raccoons attack a couple of people, they're fended off and one is thrown into a fire.

- The scene with the bear cubs makes it a not under 12/13+ to me. Aside from that I think I can understand it's PG rating, even though it was rated more than 40 years ago.
