Jeffrey Byron and Richard Moll, as well as some of the road-warrior vehicles used in the film. Were once again seen in the 1984 Charles Band science fiction film "The Dungeonmaster".
A video game tie-in was planned but never made. Charles Band even shot additional footage for the film to connect to it.
The movie was part of an early-mid 1980s cycle of 3-D movies.
