  • There are two scenes where the main female character Bares her breasts.
  • Eddie Murphy is shown naked in a bathtub. No blatant nudity.
  • Whilst at dinner, a woman tells a man that she "wants him, now!". Clearly implying sex.
  • Lots of nudity. Scenes that show a woman in bra and underwear and also a scene that shows women with bare chest.
  • Jamie Lee Curtis wears a red dress where it's almost see through and her nipples are very apparent.
  • At a party, a number of female guests are shown topless for the context of the party.
  • A woman is seen waiting in a man's bed topless (we see her bare breasts); it's clear she wants to have sex with the man but he sends her away.
  • A woman enters a room and while talking to a man she explains that she is a prostitute and takes off her dress to reveal her bare breasts. The scene continues for 4 to 5 seconds while she talks to the man, covering her breasts with her hands, and closes the door with her foot.
  • After taking the man's temperature to confirm he is sick, a woman undresses exposing she is topless and in a thong.
  • A man and woman strip down to their undergarments and proceed to kiss passionately (sex is implied; no nudity).
  • A man loudly says that a few other prisoners in a police station holding cell tried to rape him (he goes so far to say "those men wanted to have sex with me..." and "one of them tried to bend me over...").

Violence & Gore

  • A few fist fights.
  • A man holds another man at gunpoint and threatens to shoot him (no one is hurt) and in another scene, one man holds three men and a woman hostage at gunpoint (again, no one is hurt).
  • No serious violence and no deaths.

  • A man has 1 puff of marijuana but is interrupted and puts the whole thing in his mouth.
  • People are seen drinking alcohol during various scenes throughout the film (at bars, parties, etc...), some to the point of drunkenness. One of the main characters is seen drinking hard liquor straight from the bottle and seen stumbling about (he is clearly inebriated).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Although it's played for laughs, some people may be shocked at how quickly Louis' mental state deteriorates.
  • Towards the end of the film, Dan Aykroyd dressed up in a disguise as a black man. The scene is for laughs especially considering the time period but some people today consider a disguise as a black man as "Black Face" and may be offended.
  • The main character unsuccessfully attempts suicide twice. Once, he holds a pistol to his head and pulls the trigger, the second he is seen passed out in a bathtub and drops an open bottle of pills to the floor.
