Sex & Nudity

  • The reoccurrence in the film is a man's desire to have children, but ultimately must keep his wives (Micki & Maude) from meeting each other, particularly when they both have become pregnant.
  • Maude and Rob return home and briefly make out on the bed; the scene quickly ends there as they lie down. Sex is implied.
  • Another sex scene is subsequent (yet offscreen), clothes are strewed on the floor. Maude and Rob are seen in bed from the waist up; Rob's chest is the only nude visibility.
  • Maude and Rob are seen watching The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, where they reenact the monster fight in a playful, sensual manner. The scene ends, when Rob lies up top Maude and they kiss.
  • Micki has gloomy pajamas; she rolls over to kiss Rob and you can see her clothed buttocks for a moment.
  • Micki takes a shower, she can only be seen from the waist up. She then asks Rob to "wash the baby" and he complies as he washes her bare baby belly, smiling.
  • Rob does a male nude model shoot. All the models face from behind, exposing their buttocks. Nothing graphic, albeit Rob slams down the microphone against the interviewee's penis.

Violence & Gore

  • A clip from The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, where two monsters are briefly seen fighting. Nothing graphic.
  • Rob stubs his toe in the closet.
  • Maude and Rob remark how they're "happy and suicidal".
  • Rob and Maude go to a wrestling match, where the blue-trunked gets thrown down to the ground. No blood.

  • Suffering from the symptoms of pregnancy, Maude vomits several times - thankfully, these are all offscreen.
  • It's implied that Micki has had several miscarriages and finds herself that being a mother is irrelevant, because of that.
  • During a film shoot, Rob smashes a video camera in an reluctant outrage.
  • Rob rushes to the hospital on a bike, which he comically crashes into the entrance. He comes out unscathed.

Profanity

  • Infrequent uses of shit, goddamn, hell, SOB, etc.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The governor holds a glass of wine.
  • Rob has a national drink, only to lapse into a coughing fit. He tries to doose it by swigging another drink, only to lapse into coughing again. He then takes a gulp of a guest's drink - which turns out to be gin.
  • When Maude and Rob meet her father and the other wrestlers, one of them brings glasses and bottle of champagne. Everyone shares a toast and briefly drink it.
  • The word "drugs" are mildly referenced.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Micki and Maude momentarily express regret from having a child and being a mother; Rob sorts it out for the two separate women and they make up for it.

Violence & Gore

  • While Rob goes to meet his two newborns, he gets his neck broken (off-screen) by Maude's father. He's later seen in a neck cast.
  • While stalking Maude, Rob hides away from her father and accidentally sets off a fire extinguisher - filling the stairway with extinguisher foam.
  • While seeking into Micki's house and holding his baby, she smacks Rob with her purse continually.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Micki and Maude go into labor.
  • Micki and Maude forbid Rob into their lives.
