“It’s been 30 years. Maybe it’s time to rekindle the flame of Nicole.”
Lifetime has officially announced its forthcoming docuseries on Nicole Brown Simpson, timed to the 30-year anniversary of her death. Titled The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and billed as an explosive two-night event, the four-part series will premiere June 1 and 2 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt.
Lifetime has released a trailer for the docuseries (below), which features her three sisters — Denise, Dominique and Tanya Brown — speaking about Nicole, the ex-wife of O.J. Simpson who was found murdered in 1994 outside her Brentwood condominium. Nicole and Simpson were married for seven years and shared two children, Sydney and Justin. Simpson was famously accused and acquitted of her murder, as well as the murder of Ron Goldman. The fallen football star was later found liable for both of their deaths in a 1997 civil lawsuit.
Simpson died April 10 from metastatic prostate cancer.

For years, people have “heard grumblings and whispers” — as #MeToo founder Tarana Burke puts it — about the questionable behavior of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“But I think the question,” Burke adds, “was there ever going to be any level of accountability?”
Five months ago, Combs’ life dramatically changed. Singer Cassie, the music mogul’s former partner and a recording artist, sued him for sexual assault and said he repeatedly raped and physically abused her for nearly a decade; they reached a settlement two days later. But subsequent lawsuits from more women followed with claims of rape and sexual assault, and in February producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones — who worked on Combs’ recent Grammy-nominated album — accused the entrepreneur of harassing and trafficking him. Christian Combs, the entertainer’s 26-year-old son, has been accused of sex assault in a lawsuit filed this week that also listed 54-year-old Combs as a defendant, multiple outlets reported.

When Melissa invited Hannah over for a sleepover, she felt a little skeptical but thought to give it a chance to make new friends. But then, the sleepover got really weird! Strange things started happening, and Hannah wondered why she even came in the first place! Will they survive the night?! Let’s dive in and find out together!

Blumhouse Productions has been one of the biggest names in horror for several years now, putting out movies like The Invisible Man, The Black Phone, M3GAN, the recent Halloween sequel trilogy, and the Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Purge franchises, among many others. October 6th saw the theatrical release of their Exorcist sequel The Exorcist: Believer, which is meant to be the first entry in a trilogy… and the poor reception that movie got from movie-goers and critics alike wasn’t exactly what Universal and Peacock were hoping for when they forked over around $400 million for the rights to distribute that trilogy. But Blumhouse’s luck turned around three weeks later. That’s when their video game adaptation Five Nights at Freddy’s (read our review Here) reached theatres – and that movie has officially become their highest-grossing production!

Leave your preconceived notions about wrestling at the door. That’s what the cast of A24’s latest drama The Iron Claw emphasized today during the film’s post-premiere press conference in Dallas, TX.
“It’s like dance, gymnastics, combat sports… so many different things,” Jeremy Allen White, one of the film’s ensemble stars said to a packed ballroom of journalists at the glitzy Ritz Carlton Hotel downtown this morning.
The film centers on the famed (and ultimately tragic) story of the Von Erich brothers, who took their unique talents from their hometown of Denton, to the world wrestling stage, in time creating the notorious The Iron Claw move that wowed the sport in the ‘80s.
On why he felt it was the right story to bring to the big screen, writer/director/producer Sean Durkin said, “I’ve been a fan of [wrestling] since I was a kid, and...

Saturday Night Live departed from its usual cold open with a heartfelt message from Pete Davidson about Israel’s war with Hamas.
Davidson opened by discussing the “horrible images” from Israel and Gaza and related it to his own tragedy, of losing his father when he was a child on 9/11 – Davidson’s father, Scott Davidson, was a New York City firefighter who was killed at the World Trade Center.
“I know what you’re thinking, who better to comment on it than Pete Davidson? Well, in a lot of ways, I am a good person to talk about it because when I was seven years old my dad was killed in a terrorist attack. So, I know something about what that’s like.”
He pointed to the “terrible pictures” of children suffering this week and said “no one in this world deserves to suffer like that”.

Tragedy Man, the acclaimed horror anthology written by Anthony M. Caro, is now available on Amazon Kindle.
Five Actors. Five Auditions. Five Tales of Terror.
Inspired by classic horror anthologies, Tragedy Man’s story arc involves five actors chasing fame in early 1970s New York. An audition for an improv gig at a rundown New Jersey theater finds them improvising tragedies that turn into unexpected – and tragic -horror tales.
How far will a down-on-his-luck actor-musician go to get a pawned scooter back? What is the secret behind the living vines stalking a former film star in a flower shop? Why does a train-traveling comic’s audience go to enormous lengths to hide their identity? Can a reluctant adult film performer’s murderous rampage clean up Times Square? Is a chance at theatrical stardom worth a game show host’s soul?

Fans have been celebrating the 45th anniversary of the release of Jaws 2 (watch it Here), with Universal Pictures marking the anniversary by giving the film a 4K Uhd release last month. But now the anniversary has a sadness to it, as it has been announced that actor Marc Gilpin, who played little Sean Brody in the movie, has passed away at the too-young age of 56, following a long battle with glioblastoma. His passing has been confirmed by his sister Peri Gilpin, an actress best known for playing the character Roz on the sitcom Frasier.
Marc Gilpin was born in Austin, Texas on September 26, 1966. His acting career started soon after, as he landed a role in a nationwide commercial for Exxon when he was just four years old. Marc Gilpin, best known for portraying the son of Chief Martin Brody in the sequel to “Jaws,” has died at the age of 56.
Peri Gilpin, known for her role as Roz Doyle in “Frasier,” announced that her older brother had passed on Saturday following a long battle with glioblastoma.
Gilpin played Sean Brody in 1978’s “Jaws 2.” He starred alongside Roy Scheider as Brody, Lorraine Gary as Brody’s wife Ellen and his sister, April Gilpin.
Unlike the original seaside horror movie, “Jaws 2” heavily featured the chief’s two kids, Sean and Mike (Mark Gruner). While another great white shark is loose around Amity Island, Mike takes his little brother on an ill-fated boating trip. Brody is once again forced to face off against a dangerous killer, this time to save his sons.

Miranda Peters
Peters, whose past credit list also includes the BBC’s Exposed: The Church’s Darkest Secret and Paramount+’s The Box, started this month to oversee UK development and joins the likes of VP Development Steven Baker and around half a dozen other employees based in the UK and U.S. More hires are imminent and greenlights are close, Deadline understands.

This piece contains spoilers for "Beau is Afraid."
There is a lot to take in with "Beau is Afraid," perhaps the strangest studio movie to get a nationwide theatrical release in a bit. Sure, that sounds a little hyperbolic, but given the current theatrical outlook full of superhero schlock and sequels, it almost feels like a miracle that we're getting Ari Aster's weird three-hour dramedy on the biggest screens possible. It also seems really fitting that "Beau is Afraid" has become his most widely-marketed film, as it seemingly completes his transition from a promising indie director to one of the few true auteurs of his age.
This transition has been filled with its ups and its downs, something that "Beau is AFraid" seemingly acknowledges within its grand story. Perhaps the most significant mark against Aster's creative career was a particular motif from his first two films, "Hereditary" and "Midsommar,...

One of the most eagerly anticipated series of the spring is coming to Netflix on April 6. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun star in “Beef” as strangers involved in a road-rage incident. But rather than let insurance sort it out, the two drivers morph into lunatics bent on revenge, resulting in increasingly harrowing — and hilarious — circumstances.
Watch the trailer for “Beef”:
More than just a meme, on April 13, Netflix unveils limited series “Florida Man,” which follows a struggling ex-cop (played by Edgar Ramírez) forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend. What should be a quick gig becomes a wildly spiraling journey into buried family secrets and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong.
Check out the trailer for “Florida Man”:
Also coming to Netflix in April will be the final chapter of “Firefly Lane.

The Bee Gees’ songs are some of the defining tunes of the disco era. In addition, they made classic rock songs. Here’s a look at all of the Bee Gees’ songs that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Bee Gees | Michael Ochs Archives / Stringer 9. ‘Jive Talkin’’
“Jive Talkin’” is based around some appropriated lingo the Bee Gees shouldn’t have been using. There’s a reason you don’t hear it today. The fact that this song topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the 1970s with no controversy shows how much the world has changed since the 1970s.
8. ‘Too Much Heaven’
One of the Bee Gees’ trademarks was their beautiful vocal harmonies. On “Too Much Heaven,” the band performs great harmonies without building a great melody to hang them on. It’s a passable song but it doesn’t live up to their best ballads, such as the Beatlesque tune “Lonely Days.

Grammy-winning R&b singer R. Kelly has been in the headlines for his legal issues since the 1990s. However, in 2019, he was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse, including child pornography, racketeering, and obstruction of justice. The singer was found guilty after two separate trials, and he is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence. But when will R. Kelly be eligible for parole?
Why did R. Kelly go to prison?
Kelly’s legal issues began in 1994 when he married singer Aaliyah, who was only 15 years old at the time. The marriage was eventually annulled.
In 2002, a video surfaced that appeared to show Kelly engaging in sexual acts with a 14-year-old girl. The video was later used as evidence in his trial. But in 2008, after a six-year legal battle, Kelly was acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography.

One of the most interesting (small) changes "The Last of Us" has made to the source material is having Joel be hard of hearing in one ear, compared to the game where he has super hearing like Daredevil. It hasn't been a huge deal in the show, mostly because Joel himself is downplaying and hiding it. But this episode makes it crucial to show that, well, Joel is not a young man. He is 56 years old, he is no superhero, and he doesn't have beskar armor or a darksaber.
The episode picks up three months after the Kansas City incident. After failing to really threaten a cute old couple out in the middle of nowhere for directions, Joel and Ellie start getting close to where Tommy is supposed to be, but they are warned that there is nothing but infected in that direction.
Along the way, Ellie opens up about...

The UK TV industry has attracted stinging criticism from special interest groups and trade bodies after only one of 12 nominated Directors at the BAFTA TV Craft Awards was female.
The We Are Doc Women collective, which is currently calling for broadcasters to bring in a 50% gender quota for directors on factual shows, said it will be contacting major broadcasters and production houses over the “saddening and angering” lack of female representation, while Directors UK criticized the lack of opportunities for diverse talent in mid-level careers.
We Are Doc Women’s statement described the male-only nomination shock as “one step forward and two steps back.”
The collective wrote to BAFTA in 2020 after a similar eventuality had taken place and last year’s Director: Factual nomination crop was 50/50 split, with Teresa Griffiths taking home the award for BBC Two’s Lee Miller: A Life on the Front Line.

It’s certainly a hope that the rich wouldn’t start thinking that they could hunt the poor for sport, but Surviving the Game isn’t the only movie that’s depicted rich socialites doing exactly that. The other movie that comes to mind is The Hunt, but that movie has more of a political lean to it since the ‘woke’ hunters are going after those that don’t have the same beliefs as they do. In Surviving the Game, Mason, played by Ice T, is a homeless man that is surly and definitely aggressive but still shows compassion and a willingness to contribute to

The Bee Gees sang in such beautiful three-part harmony that it’s tempting to assume the relationship between the brothers—eldest Barry, and his two younger brothers, twins Robin and Maurice—was just as harmonious.
But the HBO documentary The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, nominated for six Emmys including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special, shows that while there was always great love between the siblings, at times there was significant friction.

It’s a family with more chart success and record sales than almost any other group. The Bee Gees first emerged on the music scene in the 1960s, with big grins, big teeth, and particularly in the case of Barry, big hair.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian season 2 sure lived up to its name. “Chapter 14: The Tragedy” was a thrilling, action-packed installment of the hit Star Wars show, with Temuera Morrison’s Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand returning to team up with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal). But things hit the fan by the end as Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) finally got his hands on what he’s been after since the series began: Baby Yoda.
After destroying the Razor Crest with his Imperial cruiser, Gideon sent his Dark Troopers down to the planet Tython to kidnap The Child while Mando and his allies were distracted. As Djarin went to Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and the New Republic for help, Gideon visited his new prisoner in his holding cell and was met by an alarming sight, but one that’s familiar to fans.
