Paul Feig Says The New 'Ghostbusters' Will Have "All The Most Iconic Things From The Original Films"
The more things change... As we discussed yesterday in our feature, "The Legacyquel Treatment: 15 Films Ripe For A 'Star Wars'-Style Nostalgic Redo," studios are keen on reviving brands but not changing them too much. The idea is to mix a little bit of the old in with the new, so that all the elements you recognize from a property are there, just given a new coat of paint. Sometimes it works very effectively, as we saw with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," while other times, it just becomes a complete mess, like it did with "Terminator Genisys." And so for the upcoming "Ghostbusters" reboot, Paul Feig's picture can go either way, but for those who are unimpressed with the trailers, the director promises his picture will have a few of your favorite things in it. I thought this was worthy of sharing, in light of current events, if only to emphasize the fact that these occurrences aren't just a recent phenomenon, demonstrating how slow some things are to change, and just how much progress there still is to make. Digging into the archives, you'll find comedians from each generation - post Civil Rights movement - using humor to make social commentary; specifically, in this case, on relations between police officers and black people. In fact, I recall bits from the likes of Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock in recent years, speaking for my generation. The more things change... the past is prologue... Here's Richard Pryor, way back in 1978 (thanks...

Team 17's segmented mascots are back in Worms Clan Wars, and they're geared up for online competition...
The Worms series has been going for a good old time, first emerging from underground in 1995. Some 18 years after the initial wave of wriggly earth movers we have this, the latest and, potentially, greatest outing yet, and multiplayer, as always, is the focus here. This time, however, it's all about large-scale clan warfare.
The more things change...
If you've played any of the more recent Worms titles, such as Revolution, little will take you by surprise here, and much of the game's core mechanics have remained the same in Clan Wars. The Worms formula is adhered to by the book, which isn't a bad thing, as the tactical action has always worked well. However, is another outing worth a look? For Worms fans, maybe. It all depends on how competitive you are,...

ABC's crime drama, "Body of Proof," is ready to return for Season 3 after an extended hiatus. During that time, however, several changes were made to the show. What has changed in the season premiere? What remains the same? Find out here.
The first episode back on the air is a two-parter called "Abducted." In the first part, airing on Tuesday, Feb. 19, Dr. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) returns from forced leave to track down a serial killer who seems to be targeting veterans

Ethan (Geoffrey Arend) has a haircut. There's a new medical-legal investigator, Charlotte (Erin Cahil). Megan doesn't have much use for her after the death of Peter last season. Okay, I'll admit it: A few months ago I wouldn't even have entertained the idea of seeing "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark" multiple times, let alone recommend that you see it. Back in January, when we published a list of five things we liked about the show and five things we hated, we had trouble coming up with enough items for the former, and had even more trouble narrowing down our list of the latter.
Since then, the budget-busting Broadway show has undergone a massive overhaul, with former director Julie Taymor departing the production, and an entirely new set of writers — including comics scribe Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa — brought on to rework the script.
With the show finally ending its record-breaking run of preview performances next week and marking its official Broadway debut, I found myself in the audience a second time to find out whether "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark" had...

['The Biggest Loser' - '1 of 16 Eliminated']
Alison Sweeney promised big changes for this tenth season of 'The Biggest Loser,' subtitled 'Pay It Forward.' And right off the bat, the show delivered. Two of the contestants who failed to make the show were brought to the Ranch; one each saved by Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. Then, just two days into their stay on The Biggest Loser Ranch, the sixteen contestants were told they'd have to face the scale in the most frightening weigh-in ever conceived for the series.
The results of that weigh-in just might bring back to the surface a long-standing question and controversy about the format of this show, while the challenge that came as a result of the weigh-in might just have started the season's first drama. The more things change...

On the next episode of Life Unexpected, there's good news and bad news. The good news is Cate's (Shiri Appleby) crazy sister Abby (Alexandra Breckenridge) will be back. The bad news is, Bug (Rafi Gavron) will also be back.
Don't forget to catch: 'Life Unexpected' Recap: The More Things Change...
On "Formal Reformed" Abercrombie Boy asks Lux to the Winter Formal, the exact event where Cate and Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) conceived Lux. Understandably, both of them are concerned by history repeating itself, a suspicion bolstered when Baze discovers a condom in Lux's room.

Tender moments abound.
It’s been a long time since we talked about the fan-based project, Star Trek: Phase II. Last year around this time they released “Blood and Fire Part 1” with Captain James T. Kirk (James Cawley) still piloting the USS Enterprise, but now with his nephew, Ensign Peter Kirk (Bobby Rice) on board, and behaving just as recklessly as his famous uncle. He’s also having a rather torrid relationship with Lt. Alex Freeman (Evan Fowler).
If you need a refresher on the plot of Part 1, you can read it here. And you can watch and download both episodes here.
From this point on, we’re in *****spoiler***** territory.
In essence, we start with Peter Kirk and Alex on a ship, the USS Copernicus, infected with blood worms, the AIDS metaphor. These blood worms are so deadly, all known species in the galaxy flee any systems in which they exist.
