Did you know
- TriviaBenjamin Gregory, Kristy Swanson, and John Astin did not reprise their respective roles from the first film, Mr. Boogedy (1986). Benjamin Gregory, by this time, had been cast on the sci-fi sitcom, ALF, and, therefore, was not available. He was replaced by Joshua Rudoy. Kristy Swanson, was busy with other projects, and she was replaced by Tammy Lauren. John Astin, was also busy with other projects, and his character, Neil Witherspoon, was removed altogether, and was replaced by a similar character, Walter Witherspoon, Neil's apparent brother, (although it's never specified) portrayed by the late Leonard Frey.
- GoofsAfter Carlton is saved from Boogedy's spell, Elois puts the magic cloak on a coat hanger in the kitchen. About a minute later, it's missing because Mr. Lynch stole it, but since everyone was in the kitchen at the time, wouldn't someone of noticed Mr. Lynch breaking into the same room and snatch the magic cloak right in front of them?

I enjoyed this
Although I don't remember much of this film to write a really good and helpful review of it, I do remember that I particularly enjoyed this film when I was younger. I probably caught it in my early teens or just before, and I watched it several times with my brothers (who are around my age). We couldn't get enough of this film.
It was not a scary film, but it was particularly comical and downright silly. It had something to do about a house that the family moved into which was haunted by 'Mr. Boogedy'. The first film was about Mr. Boogedy, and in the film, he went to get a wife. I think he choose one of the girls in the family.
The catchphrase of Mr. Boogedy was 'Boogedy Boogedy Boo!' It was a very silly film, but we really enjoyed it as children. It is just right because it was not particularly frightening, and it is a good film for older children to watch around Halloween.
