- A woman slaps a man. His friend slaps her back repeatedly and stops.
- A mass shooting happens at a court house. People are seen running and screaming. The shooter escapes.

Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- Neela is shot to death. Blood spurts out of her every time she is shot, and she falls from a bedroom window as Velu catches her saree. The scene and aftermath is really bloody. It is perhaps the most bloody scene in the film.
- Velu is shot by a man in front of a large crowd at the very end of the film.
- Velu's step-father has been hung in a prison cell. The visuals show him rotating, but no face shown.
- A group of men plan to kill Velu and his family.
- Surya dies off-screen. His dead body is surrounded by the village people with a white sheet to cover his dead body.
- It is implied that Surya was burnt to death from the car explosion.
