The Return of the Six-Million-Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (TV Movie 1987) Poster

Richard Anderson: Oscar Goldman

Quotes

  • Oscar Goldman : So what did you tell him?

Steve Austin : I gave him the basic idea. He thinks bionics are cool.

  • Oscar Goldman : Thirty second mile! I'm telling the Olympics committee.

  • Oscar Goldman : [looking at the name of his boat]  Summer Maiden. Any perticular "Summer" in mind when you named her?

[Steve remembers flashbacks of Jaime and himself in love]

Steve Austin : Guess I couldn't forget her no matter how hard I tried.

Oscar Goldman : How hard did you try?

Steve Austin : Not very hard.

  • Steve Austin : [angry]  Oh, you never let go, do you Oscar?

Oscar Goldman : It's hard when patriotism runs in your blood.

Steve Austin : [more angry]  You don't think that kind of patriotism runs through my veins? Didn't I give enough? Two legs, and arm and an eye?

Oscar Goldman : The best we ever had.

Steve Austin : Thanks alot. The answer is still no.

  • Steve Austin : ...First rule of surveillance, and that's with 2 l's.

Oscar Goldman : [slight chuckle]  I see you've met our young Mr. Castillian.

Steve Austin : Just make sure you don't come in here one day and find *his* feet on *your* desk.

  • Oscar Goldman : Jaime was in an accident, Steve. An explosion. Coming out of her concussion, she remembered everything.

Jaime Sommers : Why'd you hide this from me?

[Flashback of Steve and Jaime talking beside tree where they carved their name in it]

Steve Austin : I was afraid that it might bring back your memories. And your pain. Does it?

Jaime Sommers : No, not anymore. I really appreciate everything you've done for me, Steve. And I appreciate, uh, what we must have shared but I don't feel those feelings now. I can't remember what it was like to be in love with you.

    Steve Austin : I understand.

Oscar Goldman : Steve, she now remembers.

  • Oscar Goldman : [laughing as Jaime tells him about her date with Martin]  Well, it seemed like a pretty good idea at the time.

Jaime Sommers : What? Me running into Steve.

Oscar Goldman : Jaime, you're blaming yourself. Not Steve for what went wrong in Budapest.

[Jaime starts to walk around tree]

Oscar Goldman : Steve refused to return to the OSI for the same reason you gave me that day in your apartment, remember. When that National Security Board came to pick you up.

Jaime Sommers : [Interrupting]  Oscar, what is wrong with wanting to have a normal life. to be a normal human being?

Oscar Goldman : I've left you alone. Don't be so defensive.

    Jaime Sommers : Sorry.

Oscar Goldman : I came here to apologize for trying to get you and Steve together. I know what Chris Williams' death mean to you. I wanted to tell Steve everything, but I was under orders not too. Don't blame Steve. He's carrying enough guilt for both of you. If you want to blame someone, try me.

Jaime Sommers : I thought a lot about Steve when I was in the hospital.

    [Walking back around tree]

Jaime Sommers : When the concussion was wearing off, it was, uh,

    [sniffs]

Jaime Sommers : It was like I had walked into a room that was crowded with memories. But they were all just acquaintances. I mean, I knew them, but they were only familiar. And, uh, then someone walked in and opened a blind and there was light. And I could see

    [voice quivering]

Jaime Sommers : all the faces and I could remember. Everything.

    [Crying]

Jaime Sommers : You knew I was going to remember about me and Steve, didn't you?

Oscar Goldman : Yeah. What are you going to do about it?

Jaime Sommers : Try not to throw him through another window. I don't know.
