Sex & Nudity

  • A wife asks her husband to come to the bedroom with her.

  • The film has some scenes of violence, but portrayed with a sense of excitement, and not sadistic and over-the-top.
  • One man punched another in a courtroom.
  • Two men talk in an alley but begging to argue. They start to fight, punching and kicking, and one holds a gun to the others head. Nothing happens.

  • Liquor seeps out of a barrel that is riddled with bullets following a gunfight and a federal agent takes a sneaky drink.
  • The main character smokes cigarettes.
  • A man holds an unlit pipe in his mouth.
  • Four men sit around a table and smoke cigars.
  • Many men sit around a large table with wine in glasses in front of them.
  • Alcohol is shown being illegally imported in trucks.
  • The film is based on taking down Capone's illegal alcohol business (though little drinking is shown).
  • People smoke in the background of many scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man is beaten to death with a bat at a dinner party, not very graphic but it is very disturbing and intense.
  • The deaths of some of the main characters is intense.
  • A young girl dies in a bomb attack.
  • There is a scene where a few men fight on a staircase with guns, one of them chases a run away stroller with a baby in it while in a gun fight, some bullets hit the stroller but in the end the baby is fine and unharmed. But some of the victims turn out with very bloody deaths.
  • The film's generally more exciting than frightening, although the violence and many deaths are difficult.

Violence & Gore

  • Jim Malone is shot repeatedly (blood splatters once). He is seen crawling along the floor, and there is a lot of blood on the floor. He later dies off-screen, and his dead body is shown.
  • A gangster shoots two in the head inside an elevator (blood splatters), then their bodies are shown with the word (touchable) written in blood inside the elevator.
  • A man gets pushed off of a building and falls into a car,his body is later shown and his head is bloody (graphic)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • At the end of the film the main character says he will get a drink.
