Very Cute!

I saw this movie when it first came out and absolutely fell in love with it! It is funny, sweet, romantic, and exciting! I have since looked for it to be rerun and have yet to see it so. I keep hoping though!

George Carlin gives a stellar performance as Justin Case. I like him even better in this than I do in Outrageous Fortune! Molly Hagan was unknown to me at the time, but I really liked her performance and have since seen her in several things. She is a really great actress.

If you like mysteries, if you like romance, if you like to laugh, then you'll adore this movie!!!!

Unfairly overlooked

Like 'Micki + Maude', this is an unjustly overlooked Blake Edwards gem - 'Justin Case' is enormous fun from start to finish.

Initially a pilot for an unrealised TV series, this features a delightful Molly Hagan and an entertaining George Carlin playing a most unusual detective team. Fans of Carlin's comedy may be slightly disappointed he isn't given more funny lines and the plot becomes a bit overly complicated and erratic towards the end, plus there's an unconvincing romantic subplot with a paramedic early on which is the films only real weak point, but Blake Edawrds' script is full of good slapstick and the brisk plot rattles along at a slick, quick pace for the most part.

Such a pity

This pilot TV film was one of the best all round films I have ever seen

Comedy the plot dialogue effects and camera optimisation were next to nothing for this type of film

What a pity that the follow up series was scrapped

I think the series that was to follow this pilot film would have been a success

At least here in the UK

This project had more going for it than many big name films given all the advertising fanfares which they did not deserve considering the rubbish offered to the public
