Sex & Nudity

  • The Baron asks several women to 'remove their knickers', but the next scene shows that this was because he wanted to use them to make a hot air balloon.
  • When Sally asks the Baron why the Queen of the Moon is making funny noises, he awkwardly explains that the King is tickling her feet, which initially seems as though the Baron is only saying it to preserve Sally's innocence, but it turns out to actually be true.
  • At the sultan's palace, there are some naked women. Although there is no frontal nudity in the scene, there are some side views with nothing seen that you wouldn't see on the beach with a woman wearing a skimpy bikini. However, there is one shot of a nude backside of an overweight woman walking away from the camera. clothing of some women can be seen through.
  • Sexual references from king of the moon with some double entendre: the suggestive moaning of the queen when her feet are being tickled.
  • A giant clam opens, revealing a naked woman. She is covering her breasts with her arm and hand, though you can still see parts of her breasts. Her other hand and her hair cover her pubic region. However, when angels wrap her with cloth her nipple is clearly seen for a second.
  • During the Baron's dance with Venus, there are naked cherubs. Their naked backsides are shown, and you can see one of the cherub's penis for a split second just after Vulcan starts to lose his temper.

Violence & Gore

  • There is war-related violence (bombs, cannons, gunshots). In one scene there is a beheading, with the severed head landing in a woman's lap, but still alive in a comedic way...not graphic.
  • The sultan plays a so-called opera on an organ that mechanically prods caged prisoners with spears so they scream in pain to make the opera's musical notes...but it's not graphic at all...just comedic.
  • The sultan is angry with a man and cuts his head off onscreen.
  • A scene where a man rides with a sword and beheads a row of soldiers.

Profanity

  • The word whore is used in a derogatory sense against a woman.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The Baron asks Berthold to fetch a bottle of wine from Vienna as part of a wager. No one drinks it.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Angel of death appears in the movie a few times and chases the Baron. It has a cloaked skeletal figure with a sickle.
