I paid almost a hundred bucks for this movie (it was higher-priced because they didn't expect it to sell well) after missing the end on network television. I figure, having watched it about 20 times, I got my money's worth. I recommend it to any fellow "sadness junkies". In other words, if you love "Brian's Song" and "Terms of Endearment," you'll love this one, too.

A short comment here. Those of you who have read the book, I don't think you should see the movie. It had some ties into the novel but for the same reason they don't put pictures in novels, you shouldn't see this movie. Those of you who have seen only the movie, read the novel and you'll find it more enjoyable and fulfilling than the screenplay.
