Terrible!
Rabical-9118 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
A weak, lifeless sitcom scripted by and starring Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis and Nick Hancock as three schoolteachers who also share a flat with each other. It certainly sounds like it has all the ingredients for a hit but it is obvious by the poor quality of the show that there was not enough heat in the oven to make it rise.

The three teachers are John Hanley, Mark Prior and Harry Dunstam. Living above them are the lovely Helen ( Harriet Thorpe ) and her psychotic Scottish husband Todd ( Ron Donachie ). The main part of the plot is Harry's futile attempts to win back the affection of his estranged girlfriend Claire ( Adie Allen ).

I could not hold out on this show until the end. It was so hackeyned and inane to hold any interest. The only joke that made me even smile faintly was this one to do with Mark justifying his reasons for bunking off an exam at college.

MARK: I got a virus!

HARRY: Only because you broke into the science lab and injected yourself with one!

Well, let's face it, one liners like that don't exactly sew the seeds of a successful sitcom. Only one series was made, and that was one too many!
