Sex & Nudity

  • Some fit young men are shirtless in various scenes, usually Native American. Sometimes talking and sometimes fighting.
  • A man and woman kiss and embrace passionately. The woman climbs on top of the standing man with some sighing.
  • Cora wears a dress that reveals some cleavage.
  • A woman is given to a man to be her wife against her will, to allow her dead father's 'seed' to continue.

Violence & Gore

  • There is an ambush attack at the beginning of the film where several soldiers are shot. A bloody exit wound and blood is shown but the blood forms in a cloud so it lingers in the air whenever someone is shot.
  • Several men (both Indians and soldiers) are killed with tomahawks (some accompanying blood, as many people are slashed and then blood pours from the wounds.
  • People are hacked with axes and hatchets and blood shoots from the entry wound.) In one quick second-long shot, a man is scalped by an Indian, his skull is seen for a split-second.
  • One man has his heart cut out by the another man, but the camera view is from behind his shoulder, so the act is obscured. The man is briefly shown holding the heart in his hand with some blood.
  • A man is burnt alive by Indians, and another character shoots him to put him out of his agony. Blood leaks from the head wound.
  • In the final battle, several Indians are shot with spray of blood. Another character is stabbed in the back with some blood, and then slit in the throat. The cutting is not seen as the assailant's arm is obscuring it, but sounds are heard and blood sprays on the assailant's face.
  • A character commits suicide by jumping off a cliff.
  • A intense war scenes including gunfire and cannons.
  • A man is scalped we see blood, but this is shown only for 3 seconds.
  • A man is hit hard in the arm with a tomahawk. A large flap of skin can be seen dangling. He is then hit in the head killing him.
  • A woman's dead body is bloody. The burnt legs of a body are shown that presumably belongs to a child.
  • Indians attack a caravan of both women and men. Many people are killed with guns and tomahawks and there is blood.

  • While leaving Fort William Henry. the group is ambushed by the Hurons and the leader shoots and kills Colonel Munroe's horse. The leader then taunts Colonel Munroe by saying he is going to kill his daughters to stop his generation. The leader then kills Colonel Munroe by cutting his heart out.
