Night Eyes Three: More of the same
Platypuschow6 March 2019
By this point in the franchise Andrew Stevens had entirely taken over. Here we see him not only lead but write, direct and produce. Sadly that did the film absolutely no favors.

With it's more than slight provocative cover Night Eyes 3 brings more of exactly the same generic erotic thriller "Goodness" but here with some really baffling writing.

Andrew Stevens returns as Will Griffith, the security guard with a habit of falling for the women he's protecting. In part 2 he fell for Shannon Tweeds character and the movie ended with them as a couple, so they're picking up from there right? right? Well no, this time Will Griffith is again falling for a woman he's protecting and she's yet again played by Shannon Tweed but she's a different character. Still with me? So that absolutely monumentally sucks.

Also starring Tweeds sister Tracy, this will appeal only to fans of the originals. Not because it's the same character/franchise, but more because it's the same movie mildly remixed.

The Good:

Not really

The Bad:

Doesn't follow on from part 2

More of the same

A tired Stevens-Tweed effort.
gridoon13 September 2001
Another typical outing from the prolific team of Andrew Stevens and Shannon Tweed. He plays the same character in all three "Night Eyes" films, but Tweed, who was the wife of a diplomat in "II", is a famous TV action star in "III". A definite sense of deja vu dominates this run-of-the-mill "thriller", which has less sex, nudity and violence than the previous installments, but no more interest. Not worth seeing....and the luscious Tracy Tweed is criminally underused. (*1/2)

JUICY EYE CANDY.

Boy I just love it when titty movies try to take themselves seriously, just like every shanan tweed movie does. And they sure are fun. This movie could have used a little more spice and perhaps some more suger. Overall this was a boring pillow hug with rosy smells and bunny's named Cheechee. -*1/2 stars

I worked on this film...

back when I didn't have an agent and I needed the money. I was a glorified extra, playing the "sound man." This film is a terrible example of an obvious sell-out to foreign investors, who demand lots of exploitative tits and ass for their investment money to get it done. Surprisingly, I was more than impressed by Shannon Tweed as a quality actor. She has the "chops" to rise above this very limiting, stigmatized genre. She's quite good. Engaging, intelligent, and alluring. Worth much more than the object of lust she is presented as. I wonder why she hasn't broken out by now. This is a lame, predictable film with all the expected shower and makeout scenes intact. If you like that alone, it's for you! Otherwise, don't waste your time.

(1993) Night Eyes 3 EROTIC THRILLER

Straight-to-rental starring, directed and co-written by Andrew Stevens with one time Playboy of the Year Shannon Tweed of many low budget T and A movies, who's now married to Gene Simmons of the music band KISS. And I must confess, that I didn't properly watched this movie since I'm already aware that the thin plot was only an excuse, to showcase really fake make out scenes, so basically you're only seeing this for the nudity because there's nothing erotic about seeing a movie full of plastics and second rate acting, and a non-existent plot. I mean to me, you see one erotic Tweed movie, then you pretty much seen them all. Looking at many straight-to-rental erotic films in the 80s and 90's used to be a substitute, as underage teenagers weren't old enough to rent hard core movies, saying that they were alternatives to something bigger. I came across this one when I bought a box of previously viewed VHS videos as there are some good movies that are obscure to find on DVD and in this day and age one can buy these VHSs by the bundle for a really good price- second hand of course. And I must say I couldn't believe how boring Night Eyes 3 was even by using the fast forward button while playing. This is the second of six movies Shannon Tweed starred with Andrew Stevens. Bomb.

Night Eyes 3

Star of the hit television series "Sweet Justice", Zoe Clairmont (Shannon Tweed) is having trouble with her ex boyfriend Dan (Todd Curtis). After Dan breaks into Zoe's house in the middle of the night her boss, Mr. Kaplan (Richard Portnow) hires Will Griffith (Andrew Stevens) and Night Eyes security to watch and protect his big star.

Naturally after spending so much time together Will and Zoe start to fall for each other and become romantically involved. This good for Mr. Cassidy (Daniel McVicar) owner of Pacific Patrol, a competitor who wants to buy out Night Eyes. Mr. Cassidy puts Tim Stanton (Tristan Rogers) on the job of finding dirt on Will so he can blackmail him and force him out of business. Tim is able to record an intimate encounter between Will and Zoe on video and show it to her boss, who in turn uses it against Zoe citing a morality clause in her contract. Her jealous costar, Dana Gray (Tracy Tweed) dubbs the tape and sells it to Hollywood Insider.

In the meantime Cassidy will go to any length to ruin Will. He even kidnaps Will's daughter.

Night Eyes 3 is your standard erotic thriller. If you enjoyed the previous two entries of the Night Eyes series you'll enjoy the third as well.

A mighty good rise-up from 2. Andrew and Shannon together make a better pair.
movies-825 December 1998
This movie was great!!!! It's a gem to the erotic thriller market. Andrew, what can I say, bud, you did a great job!!! Will Griffith is back, this time providing security for Zoe Clairmont, a TV actress on TV's hottest cop show, "Sweet Justice." Anyway, he falls in love, the usual drill...

But, there are a few twists in this one...

I loved this movie for so many reasons. The sex scenes were great (no joking). And the part with the wine, was very, very sensual. And the acting was a lot better. I think Shannon (who is a veteran of these types of movies) does a better job in this one because she, well, I don't know, has more spunk. Great direction by Stevens. He really outdid himself. As for errors, well, not many, except I don't like MONO sound too well. Great movie!!!!

**Review based on UNRATED version**

Contains:

Not much nudity, sex, or violence. Although when they pop up, they're orchestrated and,um, executed very well.

My lord....

Talk about your bad, bad B-movies! My boyfriend rented this one for us to watch, and I spent most of the movie either making fun of it (When Tweed says the line "I'm not even Zoe Clairmont", I replied with, "No, you're Shannon Tweed!") or pointing out the huge plotholes. I didn't even think the sex scenes were that erotic. They were just....there. Overall, a really, REALLY bad movie.
