Pirjo Honkasalo proves again that her breadth of intellectual and artistic development knows few rivals in the world of film production. She has carefully and honestly shared her inner self with her audience in the context of her highly developed artisanship and beauty. Hopefully some day American audiences will be able to experience her work.
