Vanna White Was Fantastic

This picture hit the theaters in 1994 with the very young and gorgeous Vanna White starring in her first film as Mickey and Gene Bicknell stars as Jeff Turner. Jeff Turner is a divorce lawyer sitting in his office with a couple that wants a divorce. Jeff decides he's had enough and walks out of the office. So when Jeff is walking away the secretary ask him for a file that Jeff throws over the railing and into the wind. Jeff canceled his credit cards, sold his home, car and finally paid off his plane. Now Jeff is a free man and will do what he wants to do, when he wants to and no one is going to tell him different. Enters Mickey who was in a hurry while heading towards San Francisco. You see, Mickey left Atlanta when she was 16 years old and is always looking for adventure. Therefore, while Jeff is flying his plane over the highway he causes Mickey to have an accident in which her car rolls over. Jeff lanes the plane near by and runs over to Mickey's car to pull her out before the car goes up in flames and it does just that. Therefore, while Jeff is fixing his plane, Mickey starts to come around. Mickey tells Jeff, that she was on her way to San Francisco to become a very good dancer and dance in a show. So now, Jeff with Mickey by his side, Jeff has a problem. Jeff told Mickey that he would take her to San Francisco but theirs one problem. Jeff plane has a ding in it and it won't fly unless he gets it fix. Jeff can't get it fixed unless he paid for it. Therefore, Jeff and Mickey do some spraying in order for Rex to fix the plane. So Jeff is doing the flying Mickey is managing the flags on the field. However, Jeff forgot to tell Mickey that part of the job of holding the flag is getting wet also. Therefore, after the job is finished Jeff and Mickey go to a local water whole where they end up get each other wet. At a local restaurant, Mickey gets into a disagreement with Jeff and walks out on him. Jeff goes looking for her and the only place he can think of is San Francisco. Jeff goes looking in every nightclub looking for Mickey. So with his luck running out Jeff tries one more club. After Jeff walks in, looks up on stage and there in a gorgeous gold bikini is Mickey dancing her heart away. Jeff not liking what he sees decides to wait for Mickey outside in the back parking lot. All Jeff wants to do is talk to Mickey to let her know that he didn't want her to leave. Now the question is will Jeff get to talk to Mickey? Some extra work had to be done before this film would be finished. Therefore, the producer shot additional footage by taking the production crew to St. Joseph, Missouri, with Thomas Haden Church, Marilyn Hassett and Holgie Forrester after the first uncompleted film with Vanna White wrapped. The new producer re-shot with a Vanna look-alike, and included himself as the leading man. This film was shot back in the 1980 but was never released to the public and never made to the theaters, instead it went straight to VHS. I liked this picture even though there wasn't much action and it was more of a love story instead. However, Vanna White made this picture successful. Vanna was just fantastic while dancing on stage and she looked good in the jeans she was wearing and even in the shower. On Vanna White, alone I give this picture 10 weasel stars.
